Saging con Yelo


Growing up, one of my favorite summer snacks was Saging con yelo. Sweet+Cold equals happiness.

Ingredients:
Saging na Saba, Sliced
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 cup water
Boiled sago
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
Combine water and sugar. Stir to dissolve and bring to a boil. Add saba, boiled sago, and vanilla extract. Cook for 10-15 minutes until saba is tender. To serve: Add milk and crushed ice.
