I'M DRAGGING IT AND HERE'S WHY...
I'm currently on a reading slump not because I lost interest, but because I am presently obsessed with watching historical Kdrama. I can't for the life of me move on from the other categories and also with my reading except for this book.
I started reading this last April 17, and until now I'm on page 112 out of 392 not because it's terrible or boring, but because I like how the story unfolds and I'm intentionally dragging it to keep it from finishing so soon. I'm not ready for the ending.😢
I am becoming attach to Helen and her life story. How I savor each detail and appreciate the author's way of weaving the story. Am I making sense? What I'm trying to say is, there are books you will stumble upon that when you read them, it transform you to that world and give you a front row seat to witness everything. You are not just reading, but it felt like you are actually there inside the story not as a character but a mere bystander. Amazing right? 😊
