Hello! There. Looking forward to discovering more new books from all the participants.
In my late teens, I discovered Rachel Ashwell by her TV Show titled " Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic".To me at that time, It was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual home decorating tv shows I normally watch. Her decorating style was like a dream made of comfort, simple, and very practical use of time-worn furnitures. It made me hope someday of a home like that.
Never did I thought that after many years later, Her Shabby Chic design principles become the foundation of my personal style. So glad I found this book at NBS warehouse sale for php 75.00 Philippine peso or $ 1.31 US dollar. I can go back again to my teen dream and maybe with adult money 😁 I can recreate a minimalist but shabby chic home for me and hubby.
I've been seeing this book (I am not your perfect mexican daughter) for awhile and I am super intrigue by the title but for some reason never though of buying it until NBS warehouse sale mark this down for php 99.00 Philippine peso or $ 1.73 US dollar. I couldn't resist a good deal. What's your book story and did you score something nice this week?
Interesting looking books. I love design shows on TV. I have absolutely no creativity myself so I do enjoy seeing what other people get up to!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
