AROUND HERE

I found an online gaming store that sells M8 Game consoles. Hubby wanted to play retro games again just like before. After setting up, we are officially back to our childhood favorite pastime activity. Hubby & I by the way are childhood friends. All our stories are connected including those summer memories we spent at each other homes playing Mario Brothers, Battle city, etc.

Besides drinking water, eating tomatoes daily or every other day keeps my skin happy and healthy.

Making breakfast every day is my love language. I really take my time to prepare and balance what we eat for breakfast.

We are fortunate to live in a place where everything is accessible. Uptown Mall (where we usually do our bi-monthly grocery) is just a 20-minute walk from our home and a 7-minute grab ride. Others, they feel BGC is a safe place (compared to other key cities here in NCR) but for those who have lived here since the early 90's (including my family) a lot has changed. I felt safe before the pandemic happened but now, that it become famous for both local and international people (including law breakers), walking from our home to uptown become a source of slight panic for me which is why hubby & I opted to just ride a grab rather than walk. I sometimes wish we could go back in time and just stay there for a while.

I was just getting dot stickers for my books (an indicator of read and did not finish books) and waiting for hubby to pay for it when I saw this gorgeous cookbook on the shelf of National Bookstore. I was having second thoughts If I should buy it also or just go back at the end of the month. I don't know who she is and would like to do a quick research first at home before getting it. I don't want to make an impulse purchase as my bookshelf is almost full of my other reading materials. Glad I discovered her and I'm hoping that her book will still be there when I go back. :)
