Stacking The Shelves| AUG 02

Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Reading Reality, is a weekly feature about sharing the books you add to your shelves, whether physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and ebooks!

Hi There! Before anything else, I would like to express my gratitude to all the comments you left on my last post. It really did warm my heart.💖 The weather here is slowly improving, and Mr. Sun made his first appearance last Tuesday morning after weeks of nonstop rain. The intense heat on my face as I soaked it all in felt like magic to me. It was really incredible and made me emotional. The same feeling I had when I was having my morning sunshine soaked when I had COVID-19 four years ago. Can't help but be grateful to be alive.😊

To those who are curious about being caught inside a typhoon, imagine yourself being inside a washing machine. That's how it is. We experience that yearly and the average is 20, but the actual numbers can vary from year to year. It's brutal, but it is what it is.😊

Anyway, my haul this week is a combination of my favorite things to do: arts, scrapbooking, cooking, baking and reading. All second hands, but most of it looks brand new. What's your haul this week?

  1. Oh, my! A typhoon. I've been through at least one serious hurricane and I remember it clearly. Better weather is ahead for all of us, hopefully.

  2. Love the books about art. I wouldn't know what to do with them because there is no art in me, but they make me happy on your shelf.

Love the Christmas title too. I'm excited to read those books this year. Enjoy your books. And I'm really glad the sun has made an appearance again.

I'm so glad you are finally in your house. That is a great feeling. And organized bookshelves? Those are the best. Enjoy your new reading space.

I haven't been reading a lot either. Life is definitely getting in the way. Hopefully soon.
