Our 20th Wedding Anniversary Date

As the saying goes, "time goes fast when you're having fun." And just like that, 20 years have passed, making us feel older but wiser. Our plan was to have our first-ever Korean barbecue meal at Premier The Samgyupsal BGC, then window shopping at MitsukoshiWe've been putting off visiting these places as we don't find any good excuse for us to be there, because when you live near places that people love to go to unwind, you tend to take them for granted. After all, you know it's just there. So, our anniversary was the perfect excuse.

We don't want to be confused about what we were going to have for lunch, so I asked the restaurant staff to kindly name the side dishes and how the grill works.

With its unlimited serving of aged meats with complimentary side dishes, we couldn't make it to round two. I am not built for eat-all-you-can compared to my hubby. Because of the rule, no leftovers and take-out, hubby decided not to take a risk of eating too much. 😅 We end our meal with a melona ice cream.

To all the staff, thank you so much. You make our experience great and memorable.😁👌

After our hearty meal, we walk across the street to Mitsukoshi. It's been a while since we last visited an actual store (for small and big stuff) because of online shopping.

We dropped by Daiso Japan. We truly had fun with lots of giggles between us, as we both agreed that Japanese people really do have tools for almost everything, and we love it so much. Then, when we went to the 3rd floor, where Nitori is located, we lost our minds over their products. We gush over their N Cool bedding collection, desk chairs, and poster frames. We noted down our favorites and decided to go back again to buy them.

We went down to the basement (still high with happiness because of Nitori) to check Mitsukoshi Fresh. I was not ready for this supermarket. It felt like I was walking the aisle of our favorite grocery which is The Marketplace. They offer more international products than local. The window shopping turned into mini grocery shopping.😆 I was really happy as they have all those products I want for our Japanese section in our pantry.

This date not only fills our tummy with good food but also feeds our souls with so much Joy. A day loaded with ordinary moments, but to us, it is a day of reflection on what we have become after all those years. We came home tired but delighted and thankful.
