WHEN THE CODE IS MESSED UP

Many years ago, A dear friend of mine taught me the basics of computer programming. I have zero knowledge, but I was determined to learn a new skill. Coding requires a lot, and I mean tons of patience. The ability to stare at a computer screen for hours, creating instructions for a computer to perform specific tasks. It's time-consuming, with never-ending challenges and frustration in between, but the biggest moment is being able to semi-successfully solve a very complex problem, just like today.

I was just adding a new code for a future recipe entry, but somehow, I deleted something, and the code no longer works as intended.😕 I tried retrieving it, checking my notes for that specific code, but yeah, I couldn't make it work, and the problem worsened. Tried another method, and the picture below 👇 happened.

I am stuck. disgruntled about that one move I made. Out of frustration, I messaged my friend and ranted about it. Went out of our room and joined my family, and sang Happy Birthday to my niece. She's 5 today. How time passed by. Went back to our room with a bowl of chocolate cake. I ate while staring at our ceiling, thinking about what option to take. Sometimes, solutions take a while because the need to equate the possible outcome can determine if I need to make a plan B or plan C.
After determining the risk I'm willing to take to resolve my coding problem, I moved forward and hit enter. It works from the frontside of my blog. Readers will not even notice there is something wrong with my Recipe Archive, but I know that there is, and I'm still trying to figure out how to make the code more efficient for me in the coming days.
