LUMPIANG SHANGHAI, SIMPOL
As of this writing, I have saved 500+ videos on YouTube under a private playlist of mine titled: Recipes to Try. I wanted this to become a blog series to push me to try it. So I can move it to another playlist titled: Recipes to Keep.
As a Filipino, Lumpiang Shanghai is one of our favorite people pleaser party foods. Nothing could go wrong with this, and it's always been a blockbuster hit with party guests. But to achieve that crunchy outside and soft inside texture, the perfect wrapper, etc., you have to do a trial and error.
Sometimes there is more error than success in my lumpiang shanghai until I tried chef's tatung version. Seriously, his instructions are always clear and simple, so anyone can follow them easily. It was a success this time for me, and I promise myself that from now on, I will use this recipe for my lumpiang shanghai.
