A MEMORY LANE

This photo was taken four years ago, and the caption says" Awww. I used to eat this with rice (don’t ask me why)😂My ultimate favorite childhood snack. My fingers no longer fit, but the feelings are still the same.🥰" When I randomly saw this photo today on my Google photo album while searching for another photo, it immediately brought me back to the time of my innocence. When things are simple and easy. When people are more friendly and kind. When I can be just a child and enjoy every moment of it. Those days of sunny days and endless play with my neighborhood friends. 

It was a really wonderful time that I wish I could go back again and again when adult life is tough and difficult. When my heart is so broken, I can barely move. When friendship breaks and becomes irreparable. When life suddenly becomes brittle, it brings me to my knees. When people become nasty towards me and think I am wimpish because I choose to move forward instead of dealing with them.

The universe doesn't revolve around me, and it will not stop rotating when things are not going my way, but it ensures me that better days are always around and bad days are not forever.
