Stacking The Shelves| April 26

Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Reading Reality, is a weekly feature about sharing the books you add to your shelves, whether physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and ebooks!

Hello! There. Looking forward to discovering new books from all the participants.

We're almost done with April, and just in time, my latest haul came today. More books to read this Summer as the heat index peaks. We're almost there, done with this excruciating, sweaty, hot, dry season. Looking forward to seeing flying termites in the coming weeks.

  1. Looks like a nice stack! And wow, Men Are From Mars, Women are From Venus is quite the classic. I've never actually read it, just heard about it!

    1. Nicky, I got lucky to find Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus at a very reasonable second hand price. Just like you, I also heard this before but never had a chance to buy it.

    1. Cindy, I also don't like flying termites but seeing them made me gross and happy at the same time because its an indication that rainy days are almost here and we are done with hot, humid summer. :)

  3. I read Men are from Mars back in the day. It’s like an excuse to be crappy. I also read he’s just not that into you. I thought it was funny (entertaining) but I can’t really remember any of it. Hope these are random selections and you are not feeling you need to excuse someone being a jerk to you. It’s not cos he’s a man, it’s cos he’s a jerk.

    1. Hello there! As someone who doesn't explain why I read what I read, I appreciate your comment. I select reading materials out of curiosity and not a reflection of my personal life. :)
