DELIZIOSO PREMIUM DELI
It's hard to put 2020 in a nutshell without getting emotional. Too many things happened and still happening and will happen that, getting back to them month by month will result in a bucket of tears just by thinking of it. It is a messy year. But, it is also a year of discovery. Can you believe that there's a silver lining to where we are right now? I found several beautiful things in the middle of all the pains and heartaches. Something to be thankful for.
I can't remember the exact date when I discovered their Instagram shop. All I know is, that I was looking for a shop where I can buy Pamplona sausage because hubby is asking me to cook pasta on his birthday. I got a bit frustrated while searching at that time because only a few came up and to be really, really honest, the photo that came up lacked a description of the product content (I love reading food labels because I'm allergic to a lot of things) and that put me off.
Their product description was so clear and on point that my first IG message to them was " Do you deliver in Makati if ever?" When I received their message that night, I immediately asked about the process of order and payment options. Within minutes, I finished the order form. That was Sept 21 at around 10:31 in the evening. The delivery was scheduled for the 26th. On the 24th, my beloved dog, Paul Jake passed away and I was so heartbroken. My whole family keeps on checking on me and assuring me that everything will be okay and that Paul Jake is no longer in pain.
When my order arrived, I immediately cooked it. The smell was so divine. It's a combination of Kielbasa and Hungarian sausage. In the middle of our lunch, I remembered the pain of losing my dog. I cried while eating. Somehow, the sausage gives me comfort. It made me feel that all things, good or bad, have an ending. Even my tears. Their sausage has become my comfort food ever since.
What we love about their products was, it's not salty. Just the right amount for our low-salt diet. It doesn't shrink and produce tons of oil and that's a good thing in my book.
Their customer service is also top-notched and the person behind their social media accounts (I'm not actually sure who manage their social media) is always been well-mannered and friendly.
I appreciate the little things like the notecard (I keep them aside as a memento), recyclable plastic bags, and the note instructions on how to cook their sausages.
I usually don't participate in crazy sales (11.11, etc) but their deal last November 11 was so good, that I can't help but give in. And here are my "hakot":
- Sausages — Bratwurst, Schublig, German Cheese Franks, Hungarian
- Cheese — Cańa de Cabra
- Cold Cuts — Jamón Serrano

I highly recommend them because I love sharing things that make me happy. I don't expect or ask for any discount and buy them at full price because when you believe in something, you should support it 100%. All my favorite shops know this about me. :)
