Pork giniling with baguio beans & misua

 

Rainy days are here again and I'm craving a soup dish that will fill my tummy and feed my soul with comfort. The preparation and cooking will not turn you off. It was so easy even for a lazy cook like me. A light and nourishing soup that imparts a touch of warmth.

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. oil 1 small onion, chopped 3-4 cloves garlic, chopped 1/4 kg ground pork (4 cups) pork stock or water 200 grams of green beans, cut into 1½-inch pieces 1 plastic misua Salt and pepper to taste Boiled eggs to serve Instructions:
Heat oil in a casserole or large saucepan and sauté onion until transparent, 1 to 2 minutes. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in ground pork and cook until brown. Pour in stock or water and bring to a boil then simmer over medium heat. Add green beans, salt and pepper, and misua. Mix well. cook until green beans is done but do not overcook. Serve immediately.
