MOVIE DATE WITH HUBBY AND A LOT MORE

 

As much as my husband’s schedule permits, we plan a movie date at least twice a month. Yesterday, He told me that he wanted to watch a movie and we should use the film passes that his co-worker gave him. And so we did today, Not only that we used the free movie passes and the gift certificate (worth 400 pesos) he won from his Christmas party (they have 3 Christmas parties) the previous day. We can't think of anything to buy for ourselves so we decided to spend the gift cert on pet products such as a new collar for Martha, a new leash for Nemo, and a kilo of dog food.

While walking, I asked my husband if he noticed how we spend our money on our dogs. He answered yes, I noticed "were like other parents who buy first what our children need than what they need for themselves the only difference is we spend our money with our dogs instead of real children. " the only reaction my husband got from me after that is a very wide smile. What he said is certainly true.

By the way, before we went to the movie house, the first thing we did is bought his Kris Kringle gift for his 2nd Christmas party from Marks & Spencer-Greenbelt 3. At first, he was hesitant, because we usually buy at glorietta branch. He was intimidated because was wearing slippers. I told him, "Why would you be ashamed? As long as you have money to spend, you shouldn't be ashamed even if you’re wearing rice sacks. It doesn't matter." Hey, before you think I’m bragging let me clarify that, I only said that because my husband’s ego needs a boost. And it works.

Okay, enough of the brouhaha let me describe to you what we bought. It was 2 body sprays of different brands. Harvard Body Spray & Woodspice Body Spray worth 500 pesos. My husband is the one who picked the gifts not me because I’m busy checking the food & women's section for new items. to me, Marks & Spencer store is a wonderland. I could stay there the whole day looking and admiring their products. It's a feast to the eyes and before I forgot, while your paying for your items, asked the staff to put your Christmas gifts to their Christmas bag.
